Core Children’s Services has over 15 years’ experience of providing safe, structured, and positive contact services for young people and contact services for families, whether they be looked after or part of separated families.

We have a proven track record in providing a high quality contact service, with access to a wide range of family contact rooms and community based venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

Our ability to work peripatetically, in the community or within family homes, allows anyone referring to us the flexibility to offer tailor-made contact sessions which are family-focussed and child centred.

All our supervised contacts and assessed services come with a full contact report as part of the charge and any level 3 assessments are conducted by a qualified social worker with a detailed assessment provided, to support the referrer in their planning, assessment and decision making for the family.

Who can refer to us for contact services?

We accept referrals from a range of partners, including Cafcass officers, Local Authority social workers, solicitors, courts and parents or other family.
