Education Solutions

Core Children’s Services works in partnership with Local Authorities, acadamies, schools, organisations and families to deliver education services for young people to improve their outcomes. We believe that everyone has the potential to succeed. We have the highest aspirations and expectations for children and young people and we strive for the very best outcomes.

Core Children’s Services focuses on meeting individual needs and promoting inclusion, in particular supporting and enabling children and young people to remain in or return to mainstream education.

Improving outcomes for children in education

We can work with you to help children and young people to improve outcomes in relation to attendance, behaviour and attainment.

We do this by:

• developing and delivering a range of tailor made and individualised education programmes, both in and out of school
• delivering training programmes for staff working with children and young people in an education setting.

Working with children and young people

When it comes to applying education-based solutions, Core Children’s Services works closely with children and young people to make sure our services are helping where they’re needed most.

By offering services such as education support, one-to-one tuition, mentoring and social skills programmes, both in and out of the school environment, we can raise a young person’s self-esteem and encourage them to make progress and achieve.

Working with families

We follow the principles of ‘Think Family’ in our planning and delivery of services with the aim of empowering parents and carers to support their young people to attend, participate and achieve. This may include opportunities for family learning and parenting programmes.

At Core Children’s Services, we understand that a child’s educational performance can have an impact at home. By working with families to understand the needs of each individual young person, we can provide the solutions they need to improve in school. Our aim to understand each individual young person’s situation is what makes our child-centred approach to Children’s Services so effective.

Working with organisations - training programmes

In our work in partnership with schools and Local Authorities, Core Children’s Services provides training programmes for staff working with children and young people.

Training courses include:

• Development of Understanding of Children and Young People with Attachment Difficulties in schools
• Supporting Children and Young People Looked After to Achieve their Educational Potential

Core Children’s Services is built on a strong foundation of expertise and experience in Education and Children’s Services. We offer this collective knowledge to education providers in order to improve the progress, academic attainment, attendance or behaviour of young people who are experiencing difficulties.
