At Core Children’s Services, we understand the family involved in the adoption process, as well as the child, can benefit from high quality adoption support. We apply our professionalism and experience to offer a safe, responsible, yet compassionate service.

Where appropriate, we encourage contact between the child or young person and their birth family in neutral settings. For the adoptive families, we offer the support they need to provide stability in a placement, encouraging positive outcomes in the children they care for. All our services are carried out by trained professionals with a strong background of experience in childcare, ensuring high quality in every aspect of the support we provide.

Supporting everyone involved

To provide the most secure adoptive process possible, Core Children’s Services aims to care for the emotional wellbeing of the families involved. In order to do this, we offer therapeutic support services, as well as counselling and support groups to encourage the welfare of the families and their ability to support the child involved. Birth families that are unable to maintain legal responsibility for their children are encouraged instead to create positive contributions by working closely with social workers to make the most of their contact time.

We provide high quality training and workshops for those professionals involved in the adoption process, ensuring that the practitioners dealing with each case are highly qualified in supporting the needs of both children and families.
