Contact Services for Families

Core Children's Services has over 15 years’ experience in providing positive, child focussed contact experiences for children, young people and their families.

We provide comprehensive reports and assessments which supports referrers in their planning, assessment and decision making.

We are able to work peripatetically, for example in a community setting or within family homes, giving families the flexibility and the ability to progress at a rate that is safe for them and to ensure the most appropriate contact options are provided.

Cafcass

Core Children's Services has delivered family centred bespoke contact services peripatetically in private law cases for Cafcass since 2008.

We know the questions you want to ask

We understand that for families to whom contact is new, there will always be many questions and often concerns.

This can include:

• Why is contact being supervised?
• How will I know where and when my contact will be?
• Are there any rules about contact?
