Education Programmes

Core Children’s Services aims to provide personalised programmes to support children and young people with their education. We aim to improve their progress, academic achievement as well as their general behaviour.

Whether that means securing alternative forms of education provision, providing training and support to educational providers, or directly helping young people who are struggling, Core Children’s Services offers the services you need. Our team of highly trained professionals deliver a wide variety of support services to help prevent exclusion and disengagement.

Help for children facing exclusion

Core Children’s Services is dedicated to helping young people before they reach the point of exclusion. Our approach centres on early intervention, which helps to prevent disengagement from learning and the development of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.

Services such as education support, one-to-one tuition, mentoring and social skills programmes can raise a young person’s self-esteem and encourage them to make progress and achieve.

Help for children post-exclusion

Alternative Education Provision can help raise a young person’s self-esteem, improve progress and attainment and help to address any difficulties that may have led to exclusion. At Core Children’s Services we offer information on the range of providers, can source appropriate alternative education provision and can put you in contact with them if you feel it’s the right choice.

In negotiation with the Local Authority we can also provide personalised programmes of alternative education provision to meet the needs of individual young people.
