Our Projects at Core Children's Services

Core Children’s Services operates a number of services both contractually and on a spot purchase basis across a range of Local Authorities, Government Bodies and Private organisations across the UK.

The services are broad ranging in terms of service delivery but all have the same underpinning ethos of being child-focused, committed to achieving outcomes for children and young people and working in partnership with other agencies and families to provide a quality, solution-focused service that recognises the needs of the individual.

Examples of Service Delivery

Some examples of our Service Delivery are outlined below:

• The recruitment, supervision and management of retained carers for Short Breaks services for a number of Local Authorities including one of the largest Local Authorities in England
• An approved provider of Parenting Information Programmes (PIPs) and our own Working Together to Make Contact Happen programme
• The organisation and running of activity groups for children and young people with a disability for a number of Local Authorities across England
• The co-ordination, promotion and delivery of Creative Education Programmes for private organisations across England, Scotland and Wales
• The provision of alternative education programmes across various Local Education Authorities in England
• The provision of one to one tuition for young people in NW England
• A range of Domiciliary care provisions across England
• The co-ordination and delivery of Befriending programmes for children and young people with disabilities across England
• The delivery of Integrated Education Support Packages for a number of Local Education Authorities
• The promotion and delivery of attachment theory training for those involved in Education across England and Wales
