At Core Children’s Services, we offer therapeutic training and consultation to professionals to help them understand and manage inappropriate sexual behaviours and the impact of sexual abuse. We also offer direct therapeutic interventions to children and young people, where required.
Additionally, we are able to provide AIM assessments in some areas, which focus on the capacity and motivation of the child or young person to achieve change with the help of a qualified social worker or therapist.
Therapists at Core Children’s Services have in-depth expertise, knowledge and experience at working with young people who engage or have engaged in sexually problematic behaviour. We are able to offer a range of direct interventions that can include some or all of the following:
