Alternative Education

Supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours through Alternative Education provision, encouraging them to re-engage with learning and focus on a brighter future.

All children and young people deserve the opportunity to enjoy and achieve in their education, but we realise that one size does not fit all. Our Alternative Education work supports young people with challenging behaviours or complex needs, encouraging them to re-engage with learning and focus on a brighter future.

We work with our commissioning partners to develop services outside of the normal curriculum that give those struggling with mainstream education the best possible chance to succeed and begin to enjoy learning.

Our programmes help pupils with challenging behaviour, young people with special educational needs and those requiring support to move into education, employment or training; supporting the individual and recognising their own unique needs. Whether it’s a structured programme of learning and work experience, creative workshops achieving vocational accreditations or land based practical skills and qualifications, we develop exciting and unique learning provisions that re-engage and offer tangible outcomes for young people.

Our specialist education team have worked with some of the most vulnerable and challenging young people across the UK helping them to make a positive and lasting difference to their lives.
