Our service provides support to young people who attend The Bridge school but have been identified as needing additional support. We offer three options but can also offer bespoke packages if required.
Option one: Jamie Oliver Home Cooking Skills
Developed in partnership with chef Jamie Oliver, our Home Cooking Skills qualifications are inspired by Jamie’s healthy eating campaigns.
Our innovative programme enables young people who are at risk of disengagement from education and to develop skills and achieve a BTEC level 1 and level 2 accreditation.
Option two: 1:1 support
We will identify the aspirations and goals the young person wants to achieve and put into place a personalised support plan with manageable steps to enable them to achieve their desired outcomes. This will have a positive impact by removing barriers to engagement, examples of support we have delivered are anger management and self-esteem.
Option three: Lesson delivery
We can deliver sessions as part of a Personal Health and Social Education (PHSE) scheme of work. The content will be adapted to the appropriate age range and examples are; healthy relationships, child sexual exploitation, domestic violence and mental health awareness.
